This is yet another issue that had a large mintage but is painfully elusive in fully struck, gem Mint State. Incomplete strikes and worn dies are the norm for 1892.
Varieties for this date include one each of a re-punched date and a doubled-die reverse, but both are minor and elicit little interest beyond variety specialists.
