Notes: This year a slight change is noted in the arrangement of the coins within the cellophane for the Denver Souvenir Set. The half dollar and quarter appear to each side of the bronze medal, rather than the cent and nickel as in previous sets. For a third year, in addition to the standard five-coin souvenir sets, a three-coin set was offered including the 1981-P, 1981-D, and 1981-S Susan B. Anthony Dollars. These sets were in an envelope containing the text “The 1981 Dollar Souvenir Set” with an informational insert describing the significance of the obverse and reverse design of the coin. For this year, the three-coin set had a much lower production number than the previous three-coin sets.
