2009 Lincoln

2009 is the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth, 16th President of the United States of America. In 1909 President Theodore Roosevelt was able to push through the US Mint bureaucracy and achieve his goal of putting his favorite president on the Cent. The Cent is over 100 years old and still going strong. To commemorate these two milestones the US Mint stuck 4 different Reverse for 2009. The Birthplace Cent, the Formative Years Cent, the Professional Life Cent, and the Presidency Cent.
