The 2014 Herbert Hoover $1 Coin Cover is the 31st issue in the series, which began in 2007. This limited-edition cover - only 20,000 will be produced - features two Herbert Hoover $1 Coins from the first days of production at the U.S. Mint facilities in Philadelphia (February 19, 2014) and Denver (February 5, 2014).

The coins are mounted on a display card inside an envelope with a U.S. A Flag for All Seasons (Forever) stamp. The cover also features a portrait of President Hoover, and a postmark of July 10, 2014, West Branch, IA, marks the day the Herbert Hoover $1 Coin Cover was issued by the U.S. Mint.

These coins display large, dramatic artwork and edge-incused inscriptions of the year of minting or issuance, "E PLURIBUS UNUM," and the mint mark. Each coin features a likeness of Hoover on the obverse (heads) with the inscriptions "HERBERT HOOVER," "IN GOD WE TRUST," "31st PRESIDENT," and "1929-1933."

Presidential $1 Coins have a common reverse (tails) design featuring a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty. Inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "$1"
