Prestige Sets (1983-1997)

In 1983, the Mint began offering collectors a Prestige Proof Set. These Prestige Proof Sets included the cent through half dollar as well the Commemorative Silver Dollar produced that year (and sometimes a Commemorative Half Dollar). These Prestige Proof Sets come in a hard plastic case housed in a simulated leather holder and boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
