This issue is common in most circulated grades, and Mint State pieces of average quality are plentiful. It is also more available in fully red gem condition than Philadelphia cents of the previous two years.
Most 1913(P) cents are fairly well struck.
An odd feature of this date is that the 3 is inconsistent with the style established by Brenner in 1909. This symmetrical numeral should have a long tail similar to that of the 9. The U. S. Mint proved to be very irregular in observing established date styles, sometimes getting it right, but more often not.
