1915(P) is more elusive than most other P-Mint nickels in the lower circulated grades; only 1914 and 1918 are scarcer. Examples are relatively common in grades XF-MS64. Gems are challenging to locate but can be found.
1915(P) nickels are among the most sharply struck coins in the series.
Varieties:
- A doubled-die obverse is most evident along the Indian’s face and at the date (FS-1915-101).
- A two-feathers variety exists for this date as well (FS-1915-401)
