The 2002 Louisiana Official First Day Coin Cover is the 18th in the series. This limited edition cover-only 75,000 will be produced-features two Louisiana Quarter Dollars from the first day of mintage, May 6, 2002. Each cover includes quarters from both the Philadelphia and Denver mint facilities on a handsome display card with the 34-cent United We Stand postage stamp. The postmark of May 20, 2002, New Orleans, Louisiana, marks the day the Louisiana Quarter Dollars were first released to the Federal Reserve Bank and to the public.
