The 2003 Alabama Official First Day Coin Cover is the 22nd in the series. This limited-edition cover-only 75,000 will be produced-features two Alabama Quarter Dollars from the first day of mintage, February 24, 2003. Each cover includes quarters from both the Philadelphia and Denver Mint facilities on a handsome display card with the 37-cent United States Flag postage stamp. The postmark of March 17, 2003, Tuscumbia, AL, marks the day the Alabama Quarter Dollars were first released to the Federal Reserve Bank and to the public.
