The 2003 Maine Official First Day Coin Cover is the 23rd in the series. This limited—edition cover—only 75,000 will be produced-features two Maine Quarter Dollars from the first day of mintage, May 5, 2003. Each cover includes quarters from both the Philadelphia and Denver Mint facilities on a handsome display card with the 37-cent United States Flag postage stamp. The postmark of June 2, 2003, Bristol, ME, marks the day the Maine Quarter Dollars were first released to the Federal Reserve Bank and to the public.
