Martha Washington: The obverse, designed and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Joseph Menna, features a portrait of Martha Washington. The reverse, designed by Susan Gamble, United States Mint Artistic Infusion Program Master Designer, and sculpted by Don Everhart, United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver, depicts Martha Washington sewing a button on her husband's uniform jacket.

Abigail Adams: The obverse, designed and sculpted by Joseph Menna, United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver, is inspired by Gilbert Stuart's portrait of Abigail Adams. The reverse, designed by Thomas Cleveland, United States Mint Artistic Infusion Program Master Designer and sculpted by Phebe Hemphill, United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver, features Abigail Adams writing the famous words "Remember the Ladie" to her husband when he was in the Second Continental Congress drafting the Declaration of Independence.

Thomas Jefferson's Liberty: The obverse features a reproduction of the Draped Bust Half Cent obverse minted in the early 1800s and designed by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Robert Scot (1793-1823). The reverse, designed and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Charles Vickers, features President Jefferson's grave marker at Monticello with the epitaph he requested to reflect his most significant accomplishments.

The reverse, designed by United States Mint Artistic Infusion Program Master Designer Joel Iskowitz and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Don Everhart, portrays a famous act of heroism in which Dolley Madison saved White House Cabinet papers and the Gilbert Stuart portrait of George Washington from destruction by British troops who burned Washington, DC, during the War of 1812.
