2008 - Alaska First Day Coin Cover (Q58)

The 2008 Alaska Official First Day Coin Cover is the 49th in the series. This limited-edition cover - only 35,000 will be produced - features two Alaska quarters from the first day of mintage - July 14, 2008. Each cover includes two quarters, one each from the United States Mints at Philadelphia and Denver, on a handsome display card with one of the four U.S. 42-cent Flags 24/7 stamps. The postmark of August 25, 2008, Denali Park, AK marks the day the Alaska quarters were first released to the Federal Reserve Bank and to the public.
