The 2009 U.S. Virgin Islands Official First Day Coin Cover is the fifth coin cover in a series featuring the 2009 District of Columbia and U.S. Territories Quarters.

This limited-edition cover - only 20,000 will be produced - features two U.S. Virgin Islands quarters from the first day of mintage, August 3, 2009 - one each from the United States Mint facilities at Philadelphia and Denver - on a handsome display card inside an envelope with a U.S. 44-cent Flag stamp. The postmark of September 28, 2009, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, VI, marks the day the U.S. Virgin Islands quarters were first released to the public.
