The 2010 Abraham Lincoln $1 Coin Cover is the 16th issue in the series, which began in 2007. This limited-edition cover - only 37,000 will be produced - features two Abraham Lincoln $1 Coins from the first day of production at each United States Mint facility - August 3, 2010 (Philadelphia) and August 2, 2010 (Denver). The coins are mounted on a handsome display card inside an envelope with a U.S. 44-cent Flag postage stamp. Additionally, the cover features a portrait of President Lincoln in front of an American flag. The postmark of November 18, 2010, Springfield, IL, marks the day the Abraham Lincoln $1 Coins were first released into circulation.
