This limited edition cover-features two Ronald Reagan $1 Coins from the first day of production at the U. S. Mint facility-January 6, 2016 (Philadelphia) and December 15, 2015 (Denver). The coins are mounted on a display card inside an envelope with a U.S. Red, White, and Blue (Forever) stamp. The cover also features a portrait of President Ronald Reagan, and the postmark of August 18, 2016, Simi Valley, California, marks the day the Ronald Reagan $1 Coin Cover was issued by the U.S. Mint.
These coin designs display large, dramatic artwork and edge-incused inscriptions of the year, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and the mint mark. Each coin features a likeness of President Ford on the obverse (heads) with the inscriptions "GERALD R. FORD," "IN GOD WE TRUST," "38th PRESIDENT," and "1974 - 1977." Presidential $1 Coins have a common reverse (tails) design featuring a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty. Inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "$1."
