The 2011 Ulysses S. Grant $1 Coin Cover is the 18th issue in the series, which began in 2007. This limited-edition cover – only 22,000 will be produced – features two Ulysses S. Grant $1 Coins from the first day of production at each United States Mint facility – March 7, 2011 (Philadelphia) and March 2, 2011 (Denver). The coins are mounted on a handsome display card inside an envelope with a U.S. 44-cent Flag postage stamp. Additionally, the cover features a portrait of President Grant in front of an American flag. The postmark of May 19, 2011, St. Louis, MO, marks the day the Ulysses S. Grant $1 Coins were first released into circulation.
